Benefits Of
Invisalign
Discreet
Invisalign aligners are made of clear, smooth, BPA-free plastic. They fit snugly over your entire arch of teeth, so most people won’t notice you’re wearing them.
Convenient
Clear aligners won’t irritate your mouth like braces can and don’t have breakable parts. Plus, since they’re removable, there are no food restrictions and brushing and flossing is easy.
Effective
Invisalign can address many of the same orthodontic issues that braces can. Treatment will help you achieve straighter teeth, a better bite and a more confident smile.

01
Consult With Our South Surrey Invisalign Dentist
At your consultation, Dr. Sundeep Chohan, General Dentist, will perform an exam and assess your diagnostic records to ensure you’re a good candidate for Invisalign. She’ll then walk you through her diagnosis and treatment plan and answer any questions you have. We’ll wrap up the visit by going over the Invisalign cost, your insurance coverage and our financing options.
02
See a 3D Model of Your Mouth
We’ll use our iTero® Element® 5D imaging system to take quick digital scans of your teeth and gums, creating a computerized, 3D model of your mouth. Dr. Chohan will plan out your smile directly on the model, moving your teeth into their proper places. She’ll even be able to show you what your new smile could look like with the Invisalign Outcome Simulator.
03
Pick Up Your Custom Invisalign Aligners
Dr. Chohan will send her treatment plan to the Invisalign lab, and your custom aligners will be 3D printed according to her specifications. You’ll wear your aligners for 22 hours per day, only taking them out to brush and floss your teeth, eat and drink anything aside from water.
04
Change Your Aligners Every One to Two Weeks
Depending on your treatment plan, you’ll move on to your next set of Invisalign aligners every one to two weeks. With no brackets and wires obscuring your view, you’ll be able to see your smile progress in real-time. You’ll come in for a check-up about every six to eight weeks, so Dr. Chohan can keep tabs on your treatment.
05
Reveal and Maintain Your New Smile
When you take out your last set of Invisalign aligners, we’ll help you celebrate! In order to prevent your teeth from shifting, we’ll create custom clear retainers for you to wear. Wearing retainers will help your results last a lifetime.
Payment Calculator
This calculator is a basic tool to give you an idea of possible payments. The actual cost and payment terms for your treatment depend on the complexity of your case and will be determined individually. Confirmation of the final cost and payment terms will be given before starting your treatment.
How does Invisalign work?
Ever wondered how Invisalign works its magic? Invisalign aligners are pre-programmed with your dentist’s treatment plan. As you wear them, they exert gentle, steady pressure that shifts your teeth into their proper positions. Each set of aligners moves you one step closer to that show-stopping smile.
What are the benefits of Invisalign?
It’s Your Little Secret
The aligners are made of smooth, clear, BPA-free plastic. Most people won’t be able to tell you’re wearing them.
Incredibly Comfortable
Invisalign aligners are comfortable. There are no brackets and wires that can cause irritation or accidental injury.
Easy-Peasy Maintenance
You’ll take your aligners out to eat, drink, and brush and floss your teeth. This means you can eat whatever you want (yup, popcorn is still on the menu) and oral hygiene is simple. Unlike braces, your aligners don’t need to be tightened or adjusted. So the checkups you do have are quick and easy.
Seriously Effective
Invisalign is effective for teens and adults with a range of smile concerns. Most orthodontic cases that can be addressed with braces can also be addressed with Invisalign.
Does Invisalign hurt?
No! You should never feel any real Invisalign pain. While your teeth might be sensitive when you first start treatment and, sometimes, after putting in a new set of aligners, discomfort is usually mild and only lasts for a day or two. Think of it as a sign that your aligners are working!
Can I eat or drink with my Invisalign aligners in?
Love chips? Eat as many as you’d like. Obsessed with almonds? Go right ahead. Avid gum chewer? No problem there. In fact, there are zero food restrictions with Invisalign. That said, you should take your aligners out before eating and drinking (aside from plain water). Why? Well, food and liquid can get trapped between the plastic and your teeth, increasing your risk of tooth decay and staining.
How do you clean Invisalign aligners?
The easiest way to clean Invisalign aligners is to simply brush them with a soft-bristled toothbrush and rinse them with lukewarm (not hot) water. For a little extra cleaning power, you can also use a clear, unscented liquid soap.
How long does Invisalign take to straighten teeth?
Dr. Sundeep Chohan, General Dentist, will be able to determine how long Invisalign will take at your consultation. The length of treatment depends on several factors, including the complexity of your case and how well you stick to your treatment plan.
How much does Invisalign cost?
Ahhh, the million-dollar question. While we’d love to give you an exact Invisalign cost, again, it’s dependent on the complexity of your case. At your consultation, we’ll provide you with an estimate.
If you have insurance that covers Invisalign, that will help reduce your out-of-pocket fees. We also offer flexible financing options so you can break up the cost of treatment into monthly payments.
