Add the finishing touch to your dental implant with a high-quality restoration.
Custom Restorations to Complete Your Smile
A dental implant is a small titanium screw that’s implanted into the jawbone. Once it fuses with the bone, it mimics the missing tooth’s root structure, creating a sturdy foundation for a permanent replacement tooth.
That’s where South Rock Dental comes in. Dr. Sundeep Chohan, General Dentist, combines digital tools, years of experience and a touch of artistry to design natural-looking restorations for dental implants.
01
Have Dental Implant Surgery
Your periodontist or oral surgeon will perform the dental implant surgery. You’ll heal for several months while osseointegration occurs (the implant fuses with the bone). Then, the surgeon will attach an abutment to the implant, which is a post that’s used to secure your restoration.
02
Come in for Digital Scans
When you’re finished with your implant procedure and healing period, Dr. Chohan will take digital scans. She’ll use the resulting computerized, 3D dental model to design your permanent crown or dental bridge.
03
Let Us Take Care of the Restoration
The dental lab will craft your porcelain crown or bridge according to the digital model. The restoration will be fabricated using high-quality material and glazed to look like a natural tooth.
04
Get Your Permanent Replacement Tooth
Lastly, you’ll visit the office to get your permanent restoration. Dr. Chohan will attach your crown or dental bridge to your abutments. She’ll check the fit and your bite and you’ll leave our office with a fully restored, confident smile.
