At your visit, Dr. Chohan will examine your teeth, review digital scans and X-rays, and confirm that Invisalign is right for you. You’ll discuss your goals, ask questions, and review your estimated treatment time and investment.
We use the iTero® scanner to create a quick, comfortable 3D scan of your teeth – no goopy impressions. With the Invisalign Outcome Simulator, you’ll see a preview of how your new smile could look before treatment even begins.
Your digital plan is sent to the Invisalign lab, where a series of custom aligners is created according to Dr. Chohan’s exact specifications.
You’ll wear your aligners 22 hours per day, removing them to eat, drink anything but water, and brush/floss. Every 1–2 weeks, you’ll switch to a new set as your teeth gradually move into place.
When your last set of aligners comes off, we’ll celebrate your new smile and provide custom clear retainers to help maintain your results long-term.

Most patients describe Invisalign as comfortable. You may feel mild pressure or sensitivity when you first start or switch to a new set of aligners, but this usually lasts only a day or two and is a sign your aligners are working.
You should remove your aligners to eat or drink anything other than plain water. This helps prevent staining and keeps food and liquid from getting trapped between the plastic and your teeth.
Gently brush them with a soft toothbrush and rinse with lukewarm water. You can also use clear, unscented liquid soap for extra cleaning power – never hot water.
